Now more than ever, Marcil Lavallée makes an active contribution to the development of our community.

Giving back to the community is the foundation of our philosophy and our values. We encourage every member of our team to stay active in the local community in their own way.

Whether that means serving as a volunteer member on a board of directors or participating in a fundraising campaign, we are always eager to share our success with the institutions that support our community.

Mouvement d’implication francophone d’Orléans (MIFO)

In 2019, Marcil Lavallée announced its five-year commitment to MIFO by contributing $50,000 to their major fundraising campaign “Acteurs du Mouvement”. Their goal is to raise $1.3M for the expansion of the new multidisciplinary center.

Vincent De Haître

In 2018, Marcil Lavallée proudly announced its sponsorship of $25,000 over 5 years to support Ottawa-born biathlete, Vincent De Haître. Competing in not one but two Olympic sports, speed skating and track cycling, the young multidisciplinary athlete exemplifies values of importance to Marcil Lavallée. Professionalism, performance, dedication, determination… Vincent keeps aiming higher.

The Mathieu-Froment-Savoie Foundation

In 2017, Marcil Lavallée announced a ten-year commitment to the Mathieu-Froment-Savoie Foundation to support the mission of La Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie, a place that offers dignity and comfort to patients and families in need of end-of-life palliative care.

La Nouvelle Scène

In September 2016, Marcil Lavallée announced a twenty-year commitment to La Nouvelle Scène aimed at providing a gathering place and a place of celebration for the Ottawa and Gatineau community. Today, the Bistro Marcil Lavallée and the Terrasse Marcil-Lavallée are proud to welcome visitors to La Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins.

Gatineau Health Foundation

In 2014 and 2015, Marcil Lavallée was the primary sponsor supporting the launch of the Gatineau Health Foundation’s new Cyclotour Santé event. The Gatineau Health Foundation collects over $100,000 each year through this fundraising event.

From Hôpital Montfort to Mount Kilimanjaro

In addition to a $50,000 donation for the Hôpital Montfort expansion project, our team joined forces in 2009 to raise money for breast cancer treatment. To achieve this, Marcil Lavallée recruited mountain climbers, organized informational meetings, and lined up sponsors for a climb up Mount Kilimanjaro.

In the end, a group of 23 climbers—including three members of the Marcil Lavallée team—not only succeeded in reaching the summit, but also raised over $700,000 to purchase equipment for breast cancer treatment.
